The Beginners Guide to Meditation
Meditation
Find a quiet time and place. Sit with your spine straight both feet touching the ground . Place your non dominate hand on your abdomen.
Breath into your hand, & keep your focus there for about 2 min. (this helps keep your mind from wandering)
If you have thoughts come up, (no judgement only awareness) just take your focus back to your breath and the rise & fall of the abdomen.
This may take a few times of practice, eventually you will notice the beat of your heart. This is a great sign!
Now Imagine that you drop into your heart, just like dropping a marble into water. See the lines of Energy move out and expand, first to the walls of the room you are in then go further to the entire city and on out into the Universe!
Just listen to the silence and wait. Yes, wait and let yourself feel the “love energy” that surrounds you and just “BE'“
The more you practice the easier it gets to drop right in to “Being” . As you feel all of this Love, send it out to the world!
